You may have a dozen nail-polishes in many different shades, but you hardly use them. The reason? Your nails hardly seem to grow long enough to file them and apply nail-polish. A lady becomes all the more beautiful if she has lovely hands. Long fingers, with nicely shaped nails that have been painted for a glossy touch, look absolutely ravishing. You need not spend a huge amount for attaining those perfect nails. With a little patience and discipline, you will soon have long pretty nails adorning your fingers.
If you have always wanted long and beautiful nails but never really worked hard for it, here are some tips on how to grow nails.
Artificial Nails
Artificial nails Artificial nails, or acrylic nails, are very pretty. You can have them at any length and at any color. You can
indulge in the whimsical and have designs painted on them. You can even have artificial nails pierced and wear nail rings.
Tips for More Beautiful Nails
1. Don't cut or manipulate cuticles.
"The cuticle is the natural barrier to fungus and bacteria—and once you breach that, protection is lost," she says. This will not
only make cuticles look worse—red, swollen, and ragged—but may also land you a nasty infection that harms the nail bed and leads to
permanent nail damage. And while cutting cuticles holds the most potential for harm, pushing them back can cause problems as well.
2.If your nails are particularly soft and difficult to grow, use a nail polish remover with hardener already in it when removing
your polish. After removing old polish, buff the nails to make sure that no small pieces of tissue or lint are adhering to your
nails. Don’t wait until the polish and top coat have begun chipping before re-applying the nail hardener. Just choose a couple of
days out of the week and do your nails, whether they need it or not. If you wait until the polish is peeling, your nails will not
strengthen as quickly as they could if you keep the hardener on at all times.
3. Regular filing
Is essential and stops nails from breaking or splitting and makes them look better, so file them all to the same length.
4. Nail buffing
Do once a week this will increase the circulation and oxygen in the nails. Do for about two minutes each session and be careful to
apply firm pressure but don’t be to hard, which can damage the nail
5. Moisturize
Have hand cream always so you can add moisture whenever your hands are feeling dry or in need of some protection.
